At Portsmouth Banners, we take pride in producing custom-printed banners that meet high standards for quality and durability. However, as each order is made-to-measure, returns are limited to specific cases outlined below.
Please read this policy carefully before requesting a return.
1. When Returns Are Accepted
We accept return requests only under the following circumstances:

Visible print defects or production errors

Banner dimensions or material not matching the confirmed order

Missing or incomplete finishing (e.g. eyelets, hemming, or pole pockets)
Reporting a Problem:
To initiate a return:

Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order

Email support@portsmouthbanners.co.uk with your order number in the subject

Attach clear photos taken from approximately 2 metres away, showing the issue
Please note: Returns will not be processed without photographic evidence and approval from our team.
2. Damaged Parcels at Delivery
If your order arrives with visible damage to the packaging, we strongly recommend refusing delivery.
Accepting a damaged parcel may void any claims related to external damage. If you suspect an issue, do not sign for the package and notify us immediately.
3. Return Shipping Costs
If your return is authorised:

We recommend using a tracked courier service

Portsmouth Banners will not be held liable for any return parcels lost or damaged in transit
Shipping fees from the original delivery are non-refundable, unless the issue is confirmed as a production error on our part.
4. Items That Are Non-Returnable
The following situations are not eligible for returns:

Claims made after the 24-hour window

Orders with approved artwork containing typos, layout errors, or user-submitted mistakes

Colour discrepancies within 10–15% tolerance, due to screen-to-print variation

Delays caused by courier services

Banners that are free from manufacturing faults but are no longer needed
We reserve the right to decline any return that falls outside of the above terms.
5. What Happens After We Receive Your Return
Once we receive and inspect the returned banner:

If a fault is confirmed, we will issue a full refund or replacement, depending on your preference

If no defect is found, the original item will be returned to you, and no refund or replacement will be offered
